It's probably already covered, and if so just consider this another vote for it. Can we get the new Market app in the next official build? Quite honestly I was pretty surprised to not see it in 2.0. I know there are threads floating around here on how to hack it into 2.0, but I've seen so many varying reports of success that I'm just avoiding the whole thing for now.

I am using the darkside.zip from the following thread:http://www.droidforums.net/forum/te...05022-who-going-re-revisited-vending-apk.html. There are a bunch of themed new markkets there. I have only used the darkside one, but I am sure they all work. Just flash over your rom through clockwork. Make sure you have a backup first. Sapphire 2.0.2 has notification bar widgets too, but is unthemed at the moment.

Updated market to 2.2.7 [cvpcs]
Updated gapps package to the new market.

So you will be getting the new market in the next release

Well it's true Unnoficial 2.0.2 is awesome (though the new market isn't there). I can only dream of what the next release will be like

That thread has it. Pdroid posted the latest one. You can just use gapps 2.0 with it (I recommend using the black bar. That file name has -bb at the end of it or something. It is the most recent one he posted).

Yes, that is the white bar. If you are okay with that, then so be it. I don't know how many people actually use the stock bar though.
New market flashes fine.

I use the stock theme almost exclusively, be it froyo or gingerbread. Have no problems with either
