Not sure if tanzanite is global friendly...not sure how different it is from the D2...will have to wait for someone more knowledgable

Roms have to be specifically built for d2g. Flash a d2 rom on d2g, best case senario you're stuck in airplane mode, worst case scenario you get a bootloop and no sbf.

Every time I try to install Sapphire I get stuck at the M logo. I wiped data & cache.

Are you installing the ROM .zip booting up then rebooting into recovery to install gapps? I tried installing the ROM and gapps at once and got stuck on the M too ...

Have it loaded up and restored all my apps, running great so far... but this is Sapphire so I really don't expect any problems.

I Got my warranty replacement DROID activated yesterday, rooted today, flashed Sapphire 2.0 this afternoon. So far the replacement is in beautiful shape and working great.
