Broken MAXX Screen

I've replaced a Droid X screen, but I can't seem to find replacement screens for the RAZR MAXX.

Do the RAZR and RAZR MAXX use the same screen??
Can anyone provide a link to a replacement MAXX screen? I did a lot of googling to no avail.

Hi and welcome to the forums!! I had to.search hi and low for this in one of our past threads... credit to FoxKat..


The screens are the same. The only difference in the devices is the battery and the bezel and backing.

I wasn't aware of that.. sorry its all I could find. So that means you'll need to call moto or find a defective device with a good screen and digitizer..

I'll keep an eye out for available replacement screens

Your best bet is to contact Motorola. They will do the repair for $177, which is about $50 cheaper than the part costs to us regular guys.

+1 also the maxx is difficult to take apart. The back being the biggest challenge from what I've witnessed.

With all the videos I have seen, its very easy to take the maxx apart. I will be replacing my own battery in the future without any worries.
