Chrome Eating Data and Battery?

So I wont lose tabs, bookmarks or history?

I wont go back to stock browser, I switched to chrome because of the issues.

Open chrome>settings(3 dots) > more settings>long press your gmail address > and there they are. Turn that sync off and chrome to mobile off.

Before I disabled these chrome would wake my phone 5-6 thousand times a day. According to wake lock app. Ran 15% of useage in the app usage partition.

If it's not HD it might as well be a newspaper.

Okay Eric, you're running chrome that loves for you to be logged in so they can forward all you info to every site you log onto. IDK if you have gsam installed or not. If so after charging it to reset your timers it manually doing such. DON'T use chrome (for that matter do it before bed)for awhile, best if phone is idle, check stats. If chrome is still using data then your options are to log in and disable sync and mobile boxes. Then run the "test again" if it persist delete chrome altogether or FDR. A wake lock app will show you chrome will not just sit there, it wants to sync non stop to something/anything. Give it a place to go and lash it down.

If it's not HD it might as well be a newspaper.
