camera shutter sound

Are you talking about that weird little sound whenever you open the camera app? Or the sound of when you actually take a picture?

After getting caught several times, I need a solution for this too!

Or turn down the volume on the phone before you snap the shot. Simple work around :)

There are a few spy camera apps in the market which turn off sounds, don't show a preview of the picture, etc. Haven't tried them so I can't vouch if they work.

You don't need an app, As Martin has stated the Volume rocker will silence the camera shutter sound.

Not really, when it started to make the sound I sort of moved the camera. It didn't help that the flash went off too.

Flash is the worst I always forget about it until the last second

Pro Zoom Camera 5X will shut off shutter, give you zoom up to 6X on screen flash on/off/auto, picture editing similar to picsay pro, timer, and if faster between shots.

Sorry, but the default apps just aren't always the best.

"Fast Camera" is a neat little app. Absolutely NO sound and it will snap pics as fast as you can tap the on-screen icon or camera button. It doesn't use auto-focus - which makes it silent, but pics are often a bit blurry.

I didn't download it for taking upskirts or anything - have young kids and often have a need to snap a quick pic and the default app is slow at loading, taking pics, and saving them. If you want quality pics, use default - but if you want quick or quiet, use Fast Camera.
