Can anyone confirm a working ROOT method?

How can we trust that this doesn't contain a virus/spyware?
Scanned it with NOD32 and MalwareBytes PRO on my PC. Clean.

But if it's custom spyware or a new virus then it would still show up as clean.

Strange, it has worked for everyone else who's tried it here and at RAZR forums. Is USB debugging enabled on your phone?
Yes, USB enabled, charge only USB mode, ran the utility. Sat there for 10 minutes and did nothing, and now my phone cannot access any SD cards. Says it is checking the SD card for errors, and cannot mount the card that came with the phone or any cards for that matter. So it didn't root the phone, but it did mess it up...
Are you having problems with wifi? I used the method from droidrazrroot.com, it worked, but now my euro won't stay connected more than 30 seconds, and won't download in wifi. Even unrooted, still the wifi problem. Any help would be great.
