Can Droid Read External SD Card?

I'd like to transfer photos from an SD card to my Motorola Droid without requiring a computer. Will the Droid read an SD card if I can find an "SD-to-female USB" cord that will mate with the Droids's "male USB-to-mini USB" cord? Or is there another way? I'll be traveling with my camera, plus the Droid, but no laptop PC, and would like to store and view my external photos on the Droid. Thanks,

It won't work like that yet, what you could do though is swap the current sd out for when you want to view pics it wouldnt hurt a thing
