Reading a SD card with my Droid

I've got the original Droid that has a micro SD card in it.

I'd like to be able to view pictures that are on a regular sized SD card with my Droid -- so, is there any kind of device that allows me to read a regular SD card with my Droid -- other than connecting it to my computer?

If there is a device, how do I read the card -- like -- will the Android OS automatically recognize the SD card?

as far as I know there is no way to read another card type on the droid.
