Can the Maps app cache be cleared in 2.0.1?

I would like to clear the search history in my Maps app, but can't seem to do it in 2.0.1. I used to be able to do it by going to Manage Applications, then clearing the cache after selecting the Maps app, but now the clear cache button is always greyed out.

Any ideas?

Does the 'clear cache' show any file size or does it still say 0.0kb?
