holycrap. i never decided to come back to this thread after i went into recovery, cleared, and was happy. These apps are awesome. My phone will always be snappy now. Is there a downside to wiping cache too often?

I used to use the free version but it doesn't clear the cache as much as the paid version, although it's hard to tell.

Don't know if I just forgot after re-installing the app, but seems like after flashing a new rom you need to reset Cachemate's autoclean schedule....For sure you need to give it root access again.

I have mine set to clear daily. I don't do hardly any texting, so it's usually only freeing 1-2 megs.

Not sure I'm a buyer of this really enhancing performance. I believe your phone has like 90megs partitioned for cache, so it would really have to accumulate before affecting performance.

Hahaha like most I only cleared my cache when I changed roms. Wow, thanks for this find........its nice to bring back the snappy responsiveness to my droid.
