Can you attach multiple files in an E-Mail

I am trying to figure out how to attached multiple files in an E-Mail. Example if I go to attach a picture from the gallery I can’t figure out how to tag more than one file. I have to go back into the e-mail and click on attach athen go back to gallery and choose the second picture that I want to attach to the E-mail. So can you attach more than one file with having to do it twice? If so I would love to know how to do so.
