Can you disable the slider?

I have a lock pattern set, but it seems counter intuitive if I need to use the slider to get to the lock pattern to get to use the phone... no?

Is it possible to disable the slider on the Incredible?

Thanks but that disabled both the slider and the lock pattern. I would just like the slider gone.

Nope, to my knowledge, the slider stays on no matter what.

Try WidgetLocker. I believe you can choose no slider, the iPhone slider, HTC slider, custom WL slider or the 2.1 slider.

It's a for pay app but it's great.
