Slider on lock screen

Does anyone know how to remove the slider from the main lock screen? I've checked security under settings and there is no way to disable this. I have a pattern to unlock my phone so there is really no reason to have two locks. Please help..

On the droid 1 all you have to do is change which security feature you want to use. Try posting your question in the Droid X forum, you should get an answer there. Good luck!
