Canada's Droid3 to have 4G

I recall one of the carriers in canada getting lte...dunno which one it is, I just recall a sign saying something about it during my Quebec trip.

Bell uses hspa+ I believe. That's gsm. They do have a cdma network as well, but their 4G is absolutely not compatible with verizon lte.

Correct. Everyone is getting worked up over nothing. This "4G" Droid 3 in Canada uses the same 4G that T-Mobile and AT&T currently use, which is nothing more than an extension of 3G. So it doesn't require different hardware. It's not LTE, which would require a redesign of the phone.
