Cannot boot to recovery

I've been trying to boot to recovery to test some other kernals and it just hangs on the boot logo. I've flashed clockwork twice, tried to do the reboot from holding the power button, did the power off hold x while powering on, and reboot to recovery from ROM manager. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I just had the same problem and I had to fix permissions in clockwork. Then I rebooted before trying to get in to recovery. Then I was able to reboot in to recovery. I hope it helps.
