Hi,

I'm having a really bizzare problem where I cannot hit the Install button when I try opening .APK files in the Download folder to install the .APK. All I see are the Install and Cancel buttons on screen, Cancel works, Install does not (but is not greyed out).

I'm on rooted .902. Let me know if you need further info.

Does it say parsing error or is there just no option to install? Do you have a screenshot?

It gives me no error at all....it's the basic screen for installing an .APK....with the "Install" and "Cancel" buttons. I can hit cancel, but the Install button isn't functional (although not greyed out). It's really strange.

Have you tried using a different .apk installer program from the market? Like, "Installer" by Rhythm Software or "Installer" by Jiang Jianjun. As a last resort, you might have to restore a 'NAN' backup using Safestrap Recovery, if you have already created/saved one prior to the start of the glitch.

It was JuiceDefender...not sure how or why but stopped JD fixed it. Thanks.

Its a known issue with juice defender. When you install apps from the sdcard it won't work. Thats why there is a installation work around included.
