Cannot find Installed App

Go to the marketplace, then menu -> downloads. It will list all your installed apps with name and icon.

It is not there...I checked that first! It is the mysterious App that can't be found LOL.

Download a task killer such as Advanced Task Killer and check what apps are running.

Off topic but you don't need to download ATK to see what task are running. Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/menu/Filter/running. You can also turn apps off this way without having a task killer installed.

I know, but the interface of ATK makes things a lot cleaner/easier, IMO.

I have now restarted my phone and will try it out to tonight to see if it still happens. I have also now went through all of the Apps under tools and nothing comes up installed that could be it...and nothing looks familiar. Wow...I learned a lesson here-make sure I remember the name of the app I install LOL.

Well last night it did the same thing, it won't go to sleep. It was not the Screebl app...and I cannot find anything that jobs my memory in the Market. Ugh...Thanks everyone for trying to help....I am about to give up.

Well, if you really want this problem solved, I can tell you how to fix it, but you are probably not going to like it lol. If you installed the app via the Market, it HAS to be listed in the Markets download section. Go there and uninstall everything you dont recognize. That, or go the extra mile and uninstall everything in that download list.

At this point, that's the best advice I can offer. I know it sucks, but if you really want this fixed, that's the only solution I can think of.
