"cannot play video"

though I must put my vote in for vlc. screw quicktime and it detecting bad files or whatever. if it plays ok in vlc then the file is fine and it's quicktime that has issues with the codec settings imo. besides, it's available on basically all major platforms. your friends can just use vlc too ><

I don't know a better video player then vlc. It's like the x264 of video players...

If you look at the other posts, you might notice that I suggested Quicktime over VLC to test files to play on the Droid.
Yes, VLC plays everything, including bad and corrupted files, but the Droid does not. So what good does it do if you want a file to play on the Droid and you test it in VLC?

If it plays in Quicktime, it's more likely to play on the Droid. My responses were not to start a flamewar on what is a better player, it was just to assist with troubleshooting, thats all.
