can't decide between Droid2 or R2D2

Reports

You cant always go with the reports every phone will come with flaws you just have to go with it and team fission even came out with the rom especially for the global. The R2D2 is plain garbage you are spending 50+ dollarsfor outside cosmetics and special software which can easily be ported? The droid 2 is no better than the droid 1 whats really the difference the keys? The droid global at least has a faster processor and if you travel you can change your sim cards. Its all about to you actually but if you still dont want to go for the global then wait until end of December beginning January for the 4G phones.

The Droid 2 is no better than the Droid 1... (the keys)... are you joking? Did you ever bother to read the specs on the two devices? "Processor, memory?"

The D2 will be able to get future updates that require a 1 gig processor with 512 ram, while the D1 will not.

You should compare specs before making statements that are not correct. And yes I owned a D1 and now a D2. The D2 has the same specs as the DX (except the 8 gig camera, hdmi...)

The hardware is exactly the same between R2 and D2. The R2D2 version is special for Star Wars nerds. If you are one of us, that's the way to go!

You can get a clear case for it and still show it off, fully protected. Your nerdy friends won't be able to get enough of R2. My neighbor is constantly sending me txts when I'm nearby just so he can hear it and rave to his buddies and GF about my phone. Everyone asks questions and it makes me feel cool and respected by my peers. Then, I show off the hyperspace live wallpaper...

As to the getting lucky comment, my girl isn't a Star Wars fan, but my choice of phone hasn't stopped anything... Self-confidence is the key. Don't be afraid of who you are!

Not quite the droid we've been looking for since 1978, but you don't need an X-Wing to carry this one around ;)

Great post :pint:
