Can't get barnacle to work

I have a question about Barnacle.
It is working from my Droid with a rooted stock 2.1.
I get connection but problem.
I also have a wired network connection and want to set up Internet Explorer to use Barnacle and not the wired network . When I unplug the wired network connection Barnacle takes over.
Is there a way I can set up my proxy in IE to bypass the wiired network and use the tether? What do I use for the address and the port?

I have no idea how to do that. I would think you could do that in advanced settings somehow but I don't know. I would just pull the plug. Besides, i have 3 computers running in my house not including my phone and only one is hardwired. If no one responds to help, I wold advise searching and if you still can't find an answer, then make another thread and ask for help.
