Can't get sms/mms notification to go away

I had this same problem today. I deleted all my texts but still had 2 new texts showing. The problem cleared up the next time I received a new text.

Im having the same problem but I cant read the text that came in. I also cant get to my inbox. I can send text and receive text. When I get a new text it just ups the number in the notification but I cant read them. I have tried all of the above stuff but still not working.

Hey guys. I have this sms notification that won't go away. I opened all my texts and its still there. I then deleted all my texts and its still won't go away. Any one know what the problem might be? I even messed with all the notification settings and that little sob won't go away. It's just annoying lol.

I have tried everything, i cant get thats message icon to go away. It is killing me. Can anyone help??
