cant install miui

Here is what I seeing after renaming D1-MIUI.0.12.30.zip to update.zip:

Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E: Can't open/sdcard//update.zip
(bad)
Installation aborted.

1. When I execute "Choose ROM from SD card": get "E:No tar archives found"

2. When I execute "Allow update.zip Installation": get "Installation Aborted"

3. When I execute "Install/sdcard/update.zip (deprecated) get the info under the opening sentence.:blink:http://img.droidforums.net/forum/images/smilies/smile2/blink.gif

Sounds like a corrupt download. I would re-download and try again.

I went to the thread that has the 0.12.3.0 link and mirror but when I try to download, all but .1 MB downloads via either links. In other words I only get 83.6 MB instead of the full 83.7 and the download does not complete.

Running Windows 7 on a netbook. Any solutions you can think of.

Ok guys just got home and I must say its a nice rom. But I can only get it to clock at 600mhz when I use to run at 1.2ghz when I was on lfy I want the speed back?

Thank you a 1000 times over. I had a corrupt download as you suspected. Goes to show that even a blind squirrel can get a nut, if he has the right resources. You guys are awesome!

Ok guys just got home and I must say its a nice rom. But I can only get it to clock at 600mhz when I use to run at 1.2ghz when I was on lfy I want the speed back?

The stock kernel can be overclocked to 800 MHz w/ setCPU. The OP in the 0.12.3.2 thread has links to other kernels if you need to go faster. I jsut use the stock kernel @800MHz, seems plenty fast to me.

Mmm seems like to me it only goes to 600. Where exactly can can I find those kernels? Battery life also seems to be kinda low most of the time also
