Can't install some apps

Now I'm getting a popup message..."unknown error-18 cant install"

this is damn frustrating...I dont want to play it only on my gf's phone haha

Easiest way is with root explorer. Open it, click mount r/w then navigate to that file and delete.

And then when I delete that file I will be able to install angry birds

Should be able to. Worked for me n others.

Thank you, FictionWeLive, for fixing a problem I have had for over 6 MONTHS and have never found a solution to until now. dancedroid

This was a very strange problem, let me elaborate: I am running Bugless Beast 0.5 (I've had the issue since BB 0.3, with countless data/cache wipes and reinstalls, different kernels, theme's, you name it). The problem only seems to affect big apps (not exclusively though) that more often then not are games.

So the issue is not related to ROM. BUT, for Bugless Beast users, simply go into Terminal, then type

su
godmode
rm /mnt/secure/asec/smdl2tmp1.asec

For those people who inevitably are reading through far too many forum threads searching for an answer, TRY THIS.

Thanks again FictionWeLive, I'm a big FATA fan as well :)
