I can't seem to push anything onto my phone. I get an error message saying the device has stopped responding. This is not my first rodeo with pushing things on my phone. plz. help.

Can you pull something?

Are you using the stock cable?

Are you using a kernel has fast charging enabled?

I'm using the stock cable. When I plug the phone into the computer I can the files. I can drag files from the phone to the computer but can’t seem to go the other way. I’ve tried another cable with the same results.

I seem to be able to push pictures but zips???

Settings > storage > USB computer connection (press menu button in storage menu for this option) Is MTP enabled?

Is USB debugging enabled? Try disabling it if so. Enabling if not.

I got it figured out, computer issues. Everything worked fine after rebooting the laptop.
