Can't Update App, Please Help

So I have the new Market installed. When I go to My Apps, it says there's an update available for Handcent SMS. When I click on it there's no option to update, just to open app and uninstall. What's going on?

Where can I do that? There's no option in the Market to do that. Under settings the only option is to adjust content filters.

Go into your phones "Settings" menu then go to "Applications" and/or "Manage Applications" and in there you will be able to click on the Market app and when you do, you will see a button to "Clear Cache" or "Clear Data". If there is a "Clear Cache" button, use that one then try the market again. Make sure you kill the Market task off before doing this/launching the Market App again.

Thanks a lot jtrag, I followed your instructions and I was able to update the app! Regarding cache, how often should I clear my internet cache? I haven't cleared it in months and i'm a very heavy browser user.
