Case for Droid Razr M

The Androidified cases by Cruzerlite are available now on their website and Amazon. They are buy two get one free. I bought three.

Geeks Unite

I got the same black cross-hatched one I had for my D2. I like the holster because it holds the screen toward your body so it's protected.

It looks sort of like this one.

I got the same one. I like it because my phone can still fit in the navigation dock with the case.

Thanks jailguard for the link to Trident. I ordered one in pink. I also noticed that there is a smaller lip around the front of the screen. With my TPU, the lip is annoyingly high and it sometimes interfers with my marking emails to delete.

Do anyone have any idea if the Trident case will fit in the cardock? Thanks for any comments.

I have some Razr M cruzerlite androidified case review units. Please Pm me if you would like one. Make sure to have a reference review, the color you want and tell me if you have amazon prime.

Qmadix Xpression case (multilpe colors)
Electronics, Cars, Fashion, Collectibles, Coupons and More Online Shopping | eBay

Either can be found for <$10 - $20

First two are both low profile cases, but I currently prefer the Shell-Holster case (it took a few days for the slippery mold release to wear off, but nice now and a keeper) for various reasons including the dual-position kick-stand feature that also provides a nice place to hook your finger when using the phone hand-held for extended periods reducing chance of dropping (hook left or right ring-finger inside the kicker). Slides in/out of pocket easily, and has a traction pattern embossed. I also like having the option to use the belt-clip shell (phone fits in audio-jack up or down, and screen-side in).

The Qmadix is slightly thicker (dual density composite w/a rigid outer). Nice feature of this case is all three hard buttons (volume up/down & power) have extension bumpers making it easy to feel for the button you are wanting (I think the three buttons are a little too close & hard to differentiate in standard configuration). Also has very slight ridge-back form that fits nicely in the hand.

Looking to try the Otter Box Commuter, but they have been hard for me to find. Bit more protection with the inner rubber, outer plastic configuration. A bit bulkier than other (much more protection though), & potential issues accessing screen out to the edge of the screen (numerous needs to access all the way out to the bezel ...).

Make sure not to get a case that covers too much of the side-bezels or ability to scroll will be diminished because of the narrow bezels on the Razr M.

I have always used a horizontal leather case for my phones, ones that you can slip your belt through. I always went that route because I have some "extra weight" on the midsection and thought a combination like the one you linked to would be flimsy and possibly fall off if I moved the wrong way. What do you think?
Sorry, I didn't noticed that you'd asked a question til now!

I've never had one come unclipped and fall off, but now that I've had the case/holser combo a while, I will say that the case itself could be a lot better.

I own the second one that Spey listed above, and my big problem with the case is that it fails to protect the top or bottom edges of the phone. Now, the top I can see because the headphone jack is there, but the bottom is really no excuse. The case should wrap around the bottom edge of the phone.

I've had one drop (onto cement) and sure enough, it landed bottom edge down, and now I have a huge gouge on the bottom of the phone that could have easily been avoided had the case been a bit better. I dropped my D2 with the same case many times, and the phone never had so much as a scratch on it.

I think if/when this case finally breaks, I'll be getting something else.

I would agree w/ Sydewaze on this case not having much protection top/base of the phone, but this is has a lot to do with why it fits in the docks.

Reviving this thread because I am looking for a good case for the Razr M.

There are so many options out there that I am thoroughly confused! I would like something that comes in a few different colors, if fairly simple in design, but offers protection against drops, scrapes, nicks, and such. My husband would probably like one that would clip to his belt securely.

I've read through this thread and see a lot of opinions....now that you have had your cases for a few months, do those opinions remain or have they changed?

Thanks!

Well, my opinions have not changed from earlier posts in this thread.
I would guess your husband would like the shell/holster that I posted earlier (my daily user of choice), or if he doesn't mind a little more bulk the OtterBox Defender ( probably the most protective case out there) w/belt clip option.
For you sounds like color options are most important so any of this simple silicon/TPO (Thermal-PolyOlefin) cases or the Qmadix are available in a multitude of colors. Also, the OtterBox Commuter is now available in a multitude "fashion" colors & patterns that might appeal to you.
Regards,

Thanks Spey....I will check those out.

I came across this:

[LINK REMOVED PER VENDOR REQUEST]

Do you think that would work?
