Works just like iTunes for your droid. It copys your pre-existing iTunes library as well as playlists that you can then copy to your phone easily

The thing that I have bee looking for is a package that will offer easy Backup/Restore capibilities. This is something that iTunes offers which actually helps the Jailbroken community.

question... I use iTunes, but iTunes DOES NOT control my music I have all my music in folders and I would have NO PROBLEM having another program import my music from my folders. is there some thing I'm missing about iTunes?

I've been using Songbird to do this exact thing for months. Songbird - Welcome
They officially support it.
