changing button colors

Is there any way or app to change the color of the four buttons across the bottom? (The home..search..menu...and back buttons )

That's a white LED under the buttons. I guess you could take it apart and color the back of the buttons to simulate a different color, but I think that's probably the only way short of changing out the actual LEDs.

Wow...

I agree, how did you do that? I have been coding for Android for a few years, but I can't seem to figure out how to do this on my Droid. Its really easy on BlackBerry (work phone). Don't be selfish, come on, help us out!

What? Someone would Photoshop an image and post it as real? No way! Thats too easy. It has to be real. OK, I hope it could be real!

Okay, to be fair, I'm completely new to the droid...

But if (as i suspect) there is a single LED, (or a few single color LED's) behind those buttons, the only way to change it would be to color the filter (paint/dye), or swap out the LED's...

lol its a skin.
Basically, it's a screen protector with red over where the buttons glow. Pretty simple.

This isnt the one I have, but it's similar (darker red)

A skin/screen protector (or something of that sort) or changing the LED's are the only 2 ways to get them to glow a different color. Looks sweet tbh
