changing button colors

Is there any way or app to change the color of the four buttons across the bottom? (The home..search..menu...and back buttons )
 
That's a white LED under the buttons. I guess you could take it apart and color the back of the buttons to simulate a different color, but I think that's probably the only way short of changing out the actual LEDs.

I agree, how did you do that? I have been coding for Android for a few years, but I can't seem to figure out how to do this on my Droid. Its really easy on BlackBerry (work phone). Don't be selfish, come on, help us out! :)

What? Someone would Photoshop an image and post it as real? No way! Thats too easy. It has to be real.:mad: OK, I hope it could be real!
 
Okay, to be fair, I'm completely new to the droid...

But if (as i suspect) there is a single LED, (or a few single color LED's) behind those buttons, the only way to change it would be to color the filter (paint/dye), or swap out the LED's...
