Changing the Motorola Graphic on Boot

Hey Guys,

I want to know if there's anyway to change the image of the M when your phone first boots. it's the image before the droid eye.

Not that I personally know of. I think it's something hard coded onto the phone (like a computer BIOS). Don't think anybody would be able to change it easily.

That one's for the Droid, not the Droid X.

I might give it a try with some of the new files floating around though and see if it works with newer SBF's, but it's more dangerous than changing the bootanimation it seems

As far as generating your own custom boot logos... if you use the ones from the above thread, you will still have to correct the checksums manually until we develop a way to correctly generate the checksums without having to get them from RSD Lite's error log.

Finished reading through MotoCache1's threads and got a working flash! Took a bit a labor though. Read through the last thread, then I posted how I did it in this thread:
