Chrome won't stay disabled

Hi guys, I've been having an interesting issue. I've always had Chrome disabled because I use a different browser but it has recently become active again. It appears in my list of apps to update. It seems like it started when my phone was updated to Android 10. No matter how many times I disable it and clear data it comes back. I did a quick Google search on this and didn't find much. I'll keep looking.

Anyone have this issue?

That seems odd. I haven't personally seen this since I use Chrome & sync between my phone, Chromebook & laptop. It's strange that it doesn't stay disabled, I don't think I have seen an app I disabled re-enable for no reason.

Me neither, this is a first. After I disable it, within a day or so it's back in my app drawer. I have found two other people who have this same problem when I did a search for it but neither had a solution that worked.

Is there a package disabler for LG in the Play Store? I use CCSWE for Samsung from the play store and you can disable any system app and it stays disabled until you say. I know this involves installing another app but if you want chrome gone.

I'm not sure. I'll check it out.

That's been off. I like having control of what updates and when.

I just bought Package Disabler Pro for LG. Seems to work so far. Thanks for the suggestion.
