Class action lawsuit against Verizon

For those of you experiencing unacceptable issues with the Galaxy Nexus I think it's time for someone to lay the law on these irresponsible suits. I am sick and tired of having dropped calls when I try to answer a phone call, loss of data, and no missed call on my phone log when the person trying to call me says the call went straight to voice mail, false advertising etc. I work in sales and I depend highly on my GNex to receive and make phone calls all day everyday. This is a serious issue that Verizon has to explain to the public and address this issue professionally. I would like to know how any of you would like to be a class member before I visit my lawyer.

This wont work. For one, you had 2 weeks to see if the phone met your needs. If it did not, then you return it and try another. Also if your phone is defective you have a manufacturer warranty to get it replaced. If the phone is not working properly it is not the carriers fault, as there are many users whose Gnexs work as advertised. If anything your issue would be with Samsung, the manufacturer.

I'm not having these issues, have you looked at getting your phone replaced. My first phone had to be released it had issues holding data. I also know 3 other people with gnex phones with no issue.

only the slimeball lawyers get rich on class action lawsuits and they are a waste of time to the rest of us

In all fairness the OP is just venting because he is rightfully frustrated.
OP- get a replacement from vzw. The phone has a 1 year warranty. Yeah it sucks that this one is a lemon, but vzw should make it right.

Yes, I got a new replacement within the 14 days. And I was told that I shouldn't worry so much and that an OTA will be released to fix any issues with the device. It has been almost 3 months and I'm currently on my 3rd device with the same problems. Why advertise they have the best 4G/LTE and the most reliable network and it seems a lot of folks are experiencing the same problems as me. My first phone on Verizon was the Motorola Droid and I loved my first Android experience I decided to upgrade to the Nexus. I will tell you first hand my og droid worked everywhere in my house and my prior carrier T-Mobile did not work in my neighbourhood at all. With the Galaxy Nexus all I get is the gray triangle and if I'm lucky I will receive half of the phone calls and be able to send a text after a few times of resending the failed delivery notice. This isn't my main point of trying to get a class action. It is the practice behind Verizon and doing their do diligence of correcting what's wrong by first admitting there's an issue with either the network or the device and second resolving it in a professional manner. It disgusts me that I paid a lot for a phone that is suppose to be the FLAGSHIP ANDROID/VERIZON smartphone that doesn't work the way it was promised. I work in sales and I depend on my phone to keep in touch with my clients. If I don't receive a missed call log from a VIP client for closing a deal how am I suppose to know they called? I need a smart phone that will work the way it was intended.

I think the "flagship" phone would be the Razr Maxx

On my 3rd replacement, the other 2 devices were brand new and manufactured in Korea, the 3rd device is a refurb I was told by an account executive that it goes through a 100 point inspection test, and that he promised that I would not have similar issues when in fact this replacement seems to be worse.
