ClockworkMod 3D Launcher from N1 - Available now

This Launcher is AWSOME! My droid finally has what I wanted...a true 2.1!!!! It will be even better when he adds the 4 docked programs @ the bottom! :-)

I HOPE NOT! If I wanted the dock at the bottom I would use the free Helix Launcher!!

I like the "Dot" naviagation better than the dock..I bet when your thumb is 51 years old you will too :-)

Mental note to self: Backup ClockWorkMod Launcher NOW in case an update comes with the goofy dock at the bottom :-)

Honestly, I don't see how a launcher is worth 3 bucks. Doesn't helix, which is free do pretty much the exact same thing? Though in fairness he does mention in the description that if you root and install CM you'll get it for free...

Most likely it'll be an OPTION to choose either the apps docked on the bottom or the dots. I always preferred to have both the apps and the dots, but if I had to choose I'd go for the apps.

I agree $3 is a little high, even when it was $2 a few days ago it was high, especially for porting/modding an existing factory pre-made app. In the end, $2 to someone that could fix something (that I really wanted) that many others could not...I don't begrudge it any at all....unless I lose my DOTS :-)

First of all, Congrats 928!!!! Second, I agree with this...I love that the 'original' launcher2 is here with minor glitches, and the fact that it's a bit better because of the 5 row column...I love switching the screens with the dots, and I hope it doesn't change...If it does, I hope there are options.

EDIT: Question for those not running CyanogenMod that paid for the launcher2 via the market...
Does it provide 5 row column?

I figured it out

you must go to Manage Applications then filter ALL

then go to Home

That's where the clear defaults button will be.

After that you just hit the home button and try again :icon_ banana:

I have been on here for a week or so and went through the whole manual updating for 2.1 with the guidance of this forum. As happy as I was with that I just laid back and didn't do any posting "to lazy" . I must say this app made me feel the need to post. As a new DROID owner, just here from running over my iPhone and replacing it with the DROID, I have only tried a few apps. This app has made my DROID into what I would consider a better flowing device than my iPhone was. I am completey in agreement with 928 though. Don't mess with my dots! I am loving the nav dots. I like the Helix launcher with the bottom dock but with 5 screens on ClockworkMod I just repeated my bottom row on all 5 screens and I consider them docked. My Droid just seems snappier as well which is just icing. I am a fan of ClockworkMod. End.

I've been using Helix for a while, but I decided to give Clockwork Launcher a try. Paid $3.00 for it. Tried it for a little bit, and then uninstalled.

Is it nice? Sure. It's smooth and it gives you 5 screens. Is is worth $3.00? No. Helix does more for free, and I don't "need" the 3D drawer.

I appreciate the effort, but I just don't think it's worth $3.00.
