ClockworkMOD Recovery Update Issues?

Yay, I'm not the only one. and to the person who posted right after me, that's exactly as I did. Lol, only with my luna theme which was surprisingly glichier than I remember. I'm staying away from froyo for a while til kinks are gone or offical realease. I'm perfectly content with BB 1.1

I had this issue as well, the older recover that ends in .1.1 always worked for me

Same problem couldn't boot into recovery and had to use RSDlite to recover my phone..

I have BB 0.1 installed also and am seeing the CM recovery problem. I think CM is busted. I had to flash back to 1.8.1.4 to get recovery to work

So what everyone is saying is to flash and older rom manager recovery and then re-download one of the froyo roms cause they all are buggy since any new clockwork update?

I had a similar issue...went into all clockworkmod recoveries and ran 1.8.2 and it fixed my recovery issues.

Update: 1.8.1.4 is not working, I thought it was because when I was finally able to restore a backup this was the version that was installed. So I backed up again and this morning I had to restore it was AFU again, all of my framework and themes were intact but I had to touch the android to begin, and reset my apps and homescreens. So I went back to my one backup that I know is working and lost any mod's I had done since then.....again

Rom Manager Broken?

For the past few days I've been unable to flash into a recovery, backup, or restore a rom and I've tried all the suggestions I've heard here at least a dozen times. I've even uninstalled and reinstall rom manager twice, but no luck.

Anybody have any ideas?

Finally

Just got a notice this morning in ROM manager that 2.0.0.4 was available -- flashed it & rebooted to recovery first time -- On Kangerade with jdlfg Froyo 1.1 running @ 1000 -- was having issues getting into recovery all week -- hopefully this CM release takes care of it -- many thanks!!

Koushik sent me an email stating this was a 2.2 issue and should now be fixed with the latest update. I was having issues myself where it would go through the motions of backing up my rom but wouldn't actually back anything up. I've done a backup since the latest update and all seems to be working perfectly.

not fixed, cant get into recovery with todays update.

I believe the issue fixed was the issue regarding backing up and restoring. The methods others have used all worked for me not being able to get into recovery. Actually whenever I flash clockwork or sprecovery now I flash three times in a row. Haven't had an issue since.

use the erase feature in RM options to help with recovery flashes "sticking"
