clockworkmod recovery

Ok I rooted my Moto droid, everything went smooth and bought rom manager and installed the free version also. now when trying to download roms it says that I must have clockworkmod recovery installed before continuing. i hit install and here is the message. "an error occured while attempting to run privileges comands!' I did uninstalled rom manager and reinstalled and nothing works. Please help

same error. ok now where can I find froyo 2.2 with using sp recovery. tired of trying rom manager? just need some step by step to do it.

You can flash a rom in SP. It needs to be renamed update.zip and placed on the root of your sd. Go into sp recovery and install the update.zip. Its been a while since I've used SP, but this will work. You'll have to download the rom from a pc and place it on your sd. What rom are you trying to flash? I know Smart7 is trying to help, but his sig. says HTS Wildfire. Only flash Droid 1 roms on your phone.
