RC1 for the Droid anyone?

I saw this in the comments of androidcentral. I'm just posting this for those who want it bad. Idk if its it or not though, so don't hold me to it. Just make a backup.

From the #koush IRC - that is not the official Droid RC1 release, just a build that optedoblivion made.

Use the version 2.1 kernels which jdlfg made specifically for CM6

Anyone know if the RC1 file here is the official one from Rom Manager? I have tried over 6 times to get it to download through Rom Manager and the furthest it made it to was 86% after 30 minutes!

I am not aware the mods this forum objecting to a download link. After all Koush has a forum here. I'm sure the mods will let me know if they do. And I hope Koush doesn't mind me posting the download link.

Yes, that's the one you want. I turned on WIFI and downloaded RC1 fine from ROM Manager.

Either beautiful widgets, or Launcher pro redrawing, it happens when BW home disapears and tries to reload I notice. I want to use it cause its part of my theme, but when I took BW off my homescreen I dont see it crash/reload launcher pro. Only seems to happen when I scroll through home screens and BW home disapears or reloads.
I got the latest version of BW, I see a newer launcher pro but dont feel like retheming and reloading the rom to install it since I dont know how to make an update.zip, I have mine themed and dont want to loose my theme is why I didn't update yet.

I'm not having any problem with the latest launcher pro on CM6 RC1

I guess its caused by beautiful widgets
I want to keep using it I like it and have used it since I've had my droid.

Guess I'll try to update my Launcher pro in a day or 2. Too much work to retheme it all this late at night

With as many Launcher pro updates that come out you could be rethemeing allot... Out of any Launcher pro is still my favorite.

My favorite is Sweeter Home 2

Only most dont like how long it takes to edit up a layout so they dont use it. but with it you can have the most customizable layout.

My second favorite is launcher pro, which I have on all 4 for of my phones only have Sweeter home on 3. One still has my old faithful BBv1.1 on it.

Im running launcher pro and BW and no problems. I also just go the 1.2 kernel to load up. Very happy now. 1358 Quadrant with widgets installed and the kernel set at 1000

sounds like your talking about on a droid. I have no issues with my droid. Its my HTC incredible thats has issues. I tried starting over 3 times and this proplem persists.
When I remove BW it runs fine, with BW installed my screen reloads alot and causes bw to crash.
