CM7 Nightlies

Flashed Nightly #38 this morning and so far battery life seems to be about the same as #37.

When I first flashed CMDX on my phone (nightly #29), I was lucky to get 10 hrs. out of the phone. As of last night on Nightly #37, I got 15h 29m out of it with moderate use. Battery life has definitely been improving which is the reason why I have been sticking to this ROM.

For those of you flashing nightlies, make sure you always Wipe Dalvik and then recalibrate your battery after flashing the new nightly.

Oops...its up to 38 now any feed back on this version? They shroud have a thread called changelog for dummies...cuz when I read it I can not make sense of it anyone willing to educate

for some reason, when I flashed 37 yesterday, I wasn't able to get GPS to work. I know that is fixed on all the nightlies now, and that's the first time I've ever had that problem, so I don't know what the problem was.

I flashed 38 today, and everything is great - very strong wifi signal, gps working fine, battery life is good so far, etc.

38 is recommended :)

I'm also going to recommend #38, battery life is much better for me as compared to #37.

Display is once again using 39%, phone idle 23%, and cell standby 18%.

Right now im at 6hours 50 minutes at 71%.

Yesterday on #37: cell standby was 55%, android OS was 12, display 11%
My battery was at 34% at 7 hours 34 minutes yesterday.

question

so with 38 build do i need to still apply the patch for camera and so for and so on? or this build has all the fixes on it help would be really appreciate dancedroid

Use the updated fix from Razorloves for the camera/camcorder/torch. The 1% battery increments are already built into the ROM

SSX v2.0

Go to cm settings. Under display or interface there is an option to toggle the battery icon to numeric.

Hey guys, been reading the following this thread for a while now, and decided to jump into it yesterday since most of the bugs seem to be ironed out. All I can say is WOW, this rom puts every other rom to shame. The customizations make this rom what it is. I made the move on nightly 34 because it seemed like people were finding more bugs in later nightlies, and I've been very impressed. The directions posted (maybe in another thread, I can't remember now) were spot on. Once again, this forum has the best, most imformative people I've seen on any forum, and I'm kinda a forum junkie. If anyone is thinking about flashing this rom and just aren't sure, just do it. You won't be disappointed.

I've been trying to down load the 39 with rom manager ....but it keeps giving me a error! anyone else with this problem? I'm on 38.

I really want to try to fix this problem ......its giving me errors?

UPDATE: I needed a new memory card..lol. what a dumbaz
