I had recently installed an app called 'Bump' that allows you to bump phones between users to transfer contact info. Seemed to be a cool app. The next time I got into my bluetooth equipped car, my phone showed an error message about com.android.phone stopping unexpectedly and I had to force quit. This went on over and over, and through some testing I am pretty sure it is bombing out when the phone goes to transfer the phone book to the cars bluetooth system. Other bluetooth headsets work fine. If I turn off bluetooth in the car the problem goes away. I did uninstall the app but the problem remains. I have been passing emails back and forth with support from the Bump application and so far we are not able to determine what is causing the problem. I suspect maybe the bump app did something to the way the phone transfers contact info, but I am at a loss as to how to get back to where I was before I installed the app. Anybody have any ideas?
