Interesting if true. I'll have to explore that myself tonight.

Does anyone using the command center widget notice a short period of lag/delay after the screen unlock if you try to swipe to another screen before letting the widget show the cloud or sun transition/movement? I thought it was just a coincidence, but I removed the widget and the slight delay went away. Maybe I'm just too quick on my swiping and need to slow down a bit....

The lines are there on mine also as Hodor ( Mr. A. E. Neuman ) said and TDL 1068 mine works as soon as I demand it to ( Now I maybe a little slower than you ) : )
