Contacted attorney about ICS crippling webtop

I bought the Razr Maxx, HD docking station, bluetooth keyboard, & Smart Controller AND extended my contract based on the abilities of these accessories in conjunction with the phone, not to mention, I got rid of Dish Network & all equipment, as my Motorola setup allowed me to watch adequate Web programming. The ICS update CRIPPLED the abilities they advertised when selling these products. I googled & found an attorney firm that was recently successful in suing Motorola for pretty much the same thing.

Here is the lino to the lawsuit filled before. I urge you to contact this attorneys office and tell them you would like to get in on the class actin lawsuit if they are willing to launch one.

Usually I'd say "wth", but since you bought all this stuff under the knowledge it all worked, more power to you. :)

I don't see how that lawsuit is anything like what you are talking about. This is not about an upgrade "crippling" phone accessories. It's about an update that was supposedly promised but never delivered. The article states "Angry CLIQ XT smartphone owners have filed a federal class action lawsuit against Motorola, Inc. (NASDAQ: MMI), claiming that the cell-phone maker promised people who bought its CLIQ XT smartphone that it would update the phone’s Android operating system, but it never did, making the phone “obsolete” and unable to run the latest versions of Facebook, Gmail and other popular applications."

Are you claiming that ICS will not work with the HD docking station you own? I don't use a docking station so I'm trying to understand if you're saying this is true for everyone? Because I see people talking about using it so I'm wondering what the difference is.

I sure hope that is one of those lawyers that does not get paid unless you are compensated by the suit.

Class action lawsuits are almost always a great benefit for the attorney trying the case, often provide very little reparations to the "participants" of the lawsuit - often a token coupon or small cash payment of a nominal amount, and although this may not be a popular comment...contribute to higher costs for future devices for everyone.

Remember the apple antennae law suit that settled earlier this year?? A 10 $ case.... that's what people got...

DROID RAZR MAXXIMIZED!!!! PREPARE TO BE VANQUISHED!!!

I can't like this comment from the DF app, so I am flat out saying. I like this comment.

Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX.

Excellent! I figure in about 18 months I should be getting a coupon good for $5 off my next Motorola phone upgrade!

If you don't see how they're similar, there's nothing i can do to help you. You're on your own.

That's when you blame the company, not the consumer whom was baited & switched. If you buy an Xbox 360, then 2 months later it receives an update & says you can no longer play DVD's & only SOME games, then if you're fine with it, cool, but i want my original equipment. I bought my accessories & the Razr based on what the accessories advertised & that's what i wanted. Look at the YouTube video of the Motorola accessories made by Motorola. They no longer work because of the update. I'll post it in a minute.
