Google Earth is pretty cool. As is Shazam. Definitely not Google Goggles. Has never recognized anything I have taken a picture of.

My Tracks - Its the best app for me sometimes. Uses maps and GPS to 'record' your walk, hike, bike, or drive. When you tell it to stop recording you can then see a line from point A to point B where you went, then a LOT of data such as elevation, speeds, time, and so on. Then better that that, you can then upload the data right to your Google Maps account to keep records if you don't want it on the phone. Great app for dorks who like hiking... hah

I think it lets you control your computer from your phone.

Its slow in development adn updates, but dang its good. I watch hulu and netflix on a projector from my laptop, and since my laptop is accross the room and I am comfortable on a couch I use PhoneMyPC (controll mouse adn keys setting) and it becomes an advanced remote controll for my system! Amazing stuff... (needs SSL secure connection badly)

I run 3dsMax at work and often have to batch render around a 1000 frames thru the night. Before PhoneMyPc I had to drive into work periodically to check on my progress, but NOT NO MORE SUCKAS! Coolest app in the history of the universe, hands down. IMHO, of course.

So what exactly can it do besides acting like a remote for your projector? lol

Like when you're away from your computer and home what use does this app provide??

I'm just not understanding it completely, sorry but thanks!
