Coolest App?

Not for my projector, for my computer... its an example. Fist off, it has many tools. One is a remote to controll keys + mouse. Another is you can view your desktop live on your phone adn control things as if u were sitting in front of it. Pinch and zoom also. You can control processes too...

As far as "cool but I dont want to pay for it" - then don't and deal without it. We have to support our developers man. Not everything can be free. Pay and help them because they helped you...

So it can be exactly like your PC but on your droid? Or is it just like the desktop and just control things here and there?

As for the paying for developers cause they helped me.. no, these ones didn't. I have to support myself a lot more than the developers lol, just how it is. But I will look more into this app, sounds cool.

Yea, thats their website...

Just like your computer on your droid. I mean I am sure some things are hard to do or maybe not possible yet, but its amazing man. No Sound yet, and frame rate is low because of obvious data transfer reasons.

As for paying for developers, these guys are worth it. As I said they are a bit slow now with updates, but I am sure they are busy. You can literally drop them an email and they'll get back to you in no time. Incredibly helpful. Pay for it, and try it for 24hours... if you don't want it refund and uninstall...

Like icculusX said it allows you to control pretty much anything from the droids touch screen(of course it would be a PITA to run photoshop from you're phone) but having the ability to check on on-going processes or look at a file or piece of info you need asap. On top of that the application in conjunction with the desktop software(that comes with it) connects automatically no tracking down IP addresses.

It's pretty amazing, in fact I think I read somewhere that it's powered entirely by magic.

Ok thanks guys

So can you watch your droid to see what's going on, like if my brother/ friend borrows my PC I know what's up? And if so I can control it and screw with them if need be?

Also it says it can get up to 10 PC's so could it connect to my friends?

LOL exactly!

I read a post this week here at df where a guy said he was showing off this app to a friend and busted his son looking a porn, lol. I see the potential for lots of fun and shenanigans for PhoneMyPc. As a wise person once told me in regards to such a tool:

"use it for good, rather than evil"

My Tracks - Its the best app for me sometimes. Uses maps and GPS to 'record' your walk, hike, bike, or drive. When you tell it to stop recording you can then see a line from point A to point B where you went, then a LOT of data such as elevation, speeds, time, and so on. Then better that that, you can then upload the data right to your Google Maps account to keep records if you don't want it on the phone. Great app for dorks who like hiking... hah

Hmm I just tried the free version of "Virtual Walkie Talkie" and it is a pretty well designed app. Really neat how it works. The pro version is way better because you can have your own 'private' channel, which is great cause people are annoying sometimes. I WOULD pay for the free version if my friends had an android phone... but nope I am the only one.
