Creating Wireless network on my laptop for my Droid?

I can make a wireless network but the droid cant see it.

Droid can not connect to adhoc networks ... it does not do that

id guess you need some sort of external device (i.e. router) to broadcast in a language the droid can understand :/

obviously, that's not the same as this situation, but that Connectify program could be what you're looking for, only on Win7, though...
