edit: and its starting in the middle of the second folder (02_eye)

I use JPEG and it works just fine...I'd imagine better since the file size is smaller.

If it's starting in the wrong folder it would almost have to be an issue with desc.txt or the folder is weird in some way.

dunno. ive always used pngs (went back & looked) i guess i used jpg bc it was in original

its starting in 2nd folder but to be more clear, its starting halfway through the sequence...nothing has been modified in mine except the pics...folders, names of files , txt file is still the same

Not sure about that...does it have a blank screen for an extended time? Like the animation is running but not being displayed.

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to bump this back up so you could see the video I posted of my custom bootanimation. You'll have to excuse the video quality since I had to use my wife's OG Droid to take this video. When I have time over the weekend I'll see about making a GIF so it's...maybe...clearer.

hahaha dude i would love this bootanim sooo much. when you work out the kinks, mind uploading it? +10

There are not kinks now. It runs as smooth as it can. The problem is that since it's a very "busy" bootanimation, as the phone is starting up, the bootanimation doesn't have as much available processing speed so it "hiccups" nearer the end.

I'll see about uploading it soon.

So I downloaded the umbrela zip but how do I get it to work. I went into recovery mode and tried to install zip but it aborted it. So is that how I am suppose to do it

I figured out how to do it and I was way off. Installing the zip is definitely not how to do it. Oops
