custom icon to show in "my computer" while connected to pc

I originally posted this in the Droid 2 section in September but got no responses so I hope it's ok that I reposted in this section.

Does anyone know if you can add a custom icon to the sd card so it shows in my computer when attached to the pc?

On my Sansa Fuze I added an autorun.inf and an icon to the root of the sd card and it works perfectly, showing the picture of the fuze under the devices with removable storage section of the pc whenever I connect by usb.

When I try it on the droid 2 the autorun file disappears after I reconnect the Droid to the pc.

I have a Droid 2 running 2.2 and Windows XP

No I didn't. I was pretty neat on my Fuze. I gave up trying on the Droid. If you ever figure it out post back.

The autorun.inf trick used to work on my Droid while I still had Android 2.0 but ever since 2.1 it's been broken.
