I'm wondering if anyone else is having any of the problems I'm having. Since the last build most of my incoming calls freeze when I slide down to answer, needless to say this gets pretty old when trying to answer a call. With the current build, LED notifications aren't working (they are enabled in settings) and my alarm clock didn't work this morning. It was set and it showed up in the status bar but it never made a sound or vibrate. Not trying to complain, just wondering if these are common issues or something isn't getting along with my particular phone.

I have had the freeze on answering phone on previous builds, haven't had it happen on the current one, but I haven't answered many calls.

I have never had a problem w/ led notifications or my alarm clock not working. My alarms went off yesterday and today.

Thanks, yeah the incoming call freeze thing is the worst of it for me. It happened to me this morning (first call since flashing yesterday I think). The LED must have sensed me ratting it out because the very next notification I got after typing that started blinking... So who knows, it appears to be working fine now. Still not sure about the alarm thing. Thanks for the reply though.

I seem to be missing Market on this build. This happened on my wife's phone on last week's build, and I just reinstalled to fix the problem. I've reinstalled this build twice on my phone and still no Market... any ideas? I'm redownloading now... thinking maybe I got a bad dl.

Edit: Third time's the charm... no wipe this time, and all is good.

I don't know why but sometimes on certain MIUI builds some system apps don't show up after installation until to reboot again. After that they show up. I dono if this was your issue but it is odd...

(so far loving this build. I had two random reboots and a few sticking on the M logo, but its probably my fault because I have been changing and swapping files to customize my miui)

Hmmm... I will have to try a reboot rather than reinstalling if this happens again... good to know!

Anyone having issues w/ on-screen keyboard I have to pull physical keyboard to text..

I haven't had any issues w/ the stock keyboard. I am using FlexT9 currently and have used swype on previous builds, so you could try downloading another keyboard as a quick fix. I know there is a gingerbread keyboard on the market.

Also when trying to download a theme the download manager automatically pauses the download and will not restart. I have tried changing from wifi to mobile network but always get the same results.

I just tried downloading a new theme via theme manager and it downloaded fine. I saw 2 users on miui.us also reported this issue. I don't know if you are grabbing themes that have been removed or if miui is having issues on their theme server. I know the theme contest just ended, so I don't know if that is adding to this??

You can go to the theme thread here and at miui.us (Links in OP) to try to download themes and apply them w/ theme manager. If nothing else, it can verify that theme manager is working correctly and able to apply themes.

FYI, I downloaded theme via 3G, didn't test on wifi

I saw in the original post you can download themes from the thread here on droid forums. I also noticed that they were all last updated in feb. Are they compatible with the 5.27 build?

I would like to apply a Galaxy S theme.

has anyone else had problems using google voice? i know the voicemail setup doesn't work b/c of the * but i've been asking the people i call which number shows up and its always my actual phone number instead of my GV #. I know its not my GV settings b/c it always worked before and it worked on Miui prior to the switch to Gingerbread but not on any ROMs since GB. I've tried installing fresh from the market instead of restoring and the result is the same. any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I use Google Voice along with GoogleVoice Callback and they both do not work. GV Callback is suppose to connect the call using my google voice phone number an callme back with it whenever i make an outgoing call, but the GV callback app wont initiate anymore.


It's not GB ROM's because it's worked on all other GB ROM's...just not MIUI.

I think I've posted this before, but not sure if it got responded to...

p.s. GV sms still works & GV VM transcription still works. notification of new messages for both are horrible though...sometimes i wont get a notification until 4 hrs later unless i manually refresh...but i think thats more the apps fault
