D2G GB Update ?

So from what I've been reading, the D2G GB 2.3 update is out and has been out for a lil while. But I've been trying to get it on my moms D2G for her, but it keeps saying no updates available. But I just read like 5 articles that said its out, and to just go to the system update section of your settings menu, and it will download it. but like i said, it just says "No Updates Available, check Back Later". So are these articles lying or something ? and if it is true, then how do i get it ?

well that kinda answered my question. So it was available for update on your phone, but then they stopped it ? is that correct or am I misunderstanding what they said in that thread ? but either way, its still available for manual install so I can do it that way, which is no problem, cause thats what I did with my Droid X, can i refuse to download the final version cause I still wanna be able to put custom ROMs on there. With my moms phone tho, that doesn't matter cause she doesn't do any custom ROMs, or mods, etc etc. She just wants the update for the better functionality and added features, etc etc. And the better looking interface.

You can check for OTA by tapping Settings > About Phone > System Updates
