So...where does THAT say that it was released????

Got me. But then neither I nor the Verizon announcement used the verb "released". Verison "announced" it. I called it "Release .8" as in version .8.

Go to Gingerbread leak - D2G Updated to 4.5.607! - Page 81 and you will see several have downloaded OTA 4.5.608 and they are not developers but somewhat new users from their descriptive names. Maybe the "release" is "released".

No matter. They probably just tossed it all into 2.3.4, most likely. Means the old 4.5.607's 3G icon fix, and the CRT animation update, have to be updated.

I think he was talking about 608 not 607. 607 is the version they started to release then pulled. 608 is the fix for 607 that has not been released.

Interestingly - baseband and recovery images are updated.K

Kernel remains the same
