just download, allow unknown sources, install, open, select top root method (Gimli), reboot phone, done
no pc needed
then follow [HOW TO] Install/Use Droid 3 Bootstrap

Your how to was VERY clear and easy to follow! I almost freaked out on how long the CM logo was spinning but am in the setup screen now!

I've got cm9 20120809 unofficial droid2we. Should i upgrade to something newer? camera for pix is important, wifi isnt. oh my power button is broken - i used button remapper a day or two ago and using camera to wake was nice, but to power on and off was a hassle. suggestions?
