Would you have any suggestions to fix the sync issue Im having

I might but you probably won't like it...

Wipe data/factory reset
Reinstall DS4.2 (might as well grab the new 4.2 full rom- get all the add-ons too)
Let Android auto download your apps, contacts, etc...*do not restore via TB*
Setup manually.
If you want yahoo email/exchange to work, use the blur version...

Yup. Pretty much what I would suggest. Remember to turn off what I said above. Do it yourself like JMT said

ohhh...that...download the 4.2 from that thread, install (no wipe) and you [should] have it in your /sdcard/DarkSlide/Wallpaper folder...

The LEDs off hack I posted about earlier doesn't work. It was a fluke. The only known other fix is turning the backlight to manual and powering off the phone. Powering it on then while the M logo appears dock the phone into the multimedia dock. As long as the display doesn't go off then the LEDs will remain off.

that is the DroCap icon...Drocap is a free app in market which allows you to take screenshots...while running it leaves an icon in the status bar...
