DarkSlide V4 - .340 ROM - Style, Quadrant, Linpack Champ

Where can I get some themes for my DarkSlide v4.2 awesomeness? I like that Darth Vader one....links?

The DS doesn't have a theme list because it is already heavily themed. That Darth Vader wallpaper and those few icons I made. Which I made a zip for and will post in a few. Not many icons to it, 20-30 icons.

It looks like im goinmg to have to rsd. I should need the sbf for 30.04 right? Im not a real whiz when it comes to this stuff but all help is much appreciated.

thanks, chuck

Yea if your bootloader is 30.04 you will need the 2.3.320 or 2.3.340 sbf to get you back on track. I don't want to volunteer JMT for this job, but he may help next time he pops in:)

COol thanks cm8

The are png and jpeg in here, along with that wallpaper. There are a few

more jpeg's than png, but if you don't have a black background/wallpaper

there will be a black square around the icons. Obviously the png's will not

show anything.

Just make a folder on your desktop and unzip into that :)

Here ya go>>>

I just started with all of this stuff yesterday so bear with me please. I rooted my DX. I installed Titanium (not pro) and backed up everything. I installed the DX recovery bootstrap. Btw I can't see it anywhere on the phone and don't know if I'm supposed to. Am I about ready for a ROM? I like what I see with the darkslide

Yes and no. Your Titanium Backup isn't really a system image backup or "nandroid backup." You need to do that with the Bootstrap Recovery for Droid X app. Why your not seeing it is beyond me. You installed it and dont see it? Or you don't know what to do with it? The app icon should look like a little alien that says x-recovery under it.

Ok I don't know what I did before but I have it now. Do I need to reboot recovery? Then what?

Ok. You open Bootstrap, hit the top button and after it says "success" hit ok. Then you hit the button underneath it. This will reboot you into Clockwork and you will have an option screen. Scroll down with your volume buttons and select backup and restore. Click camera button to select. Select, backup and let it run. It will run about 5 minutes. This will NOT hurt your phone:)

After its done it should kick you to the "reboot phone now" screen. It should be the top choice. Remember, your top power button always backs you up a screen if need be.

Alright chkmate. I ran the recovery and it worked like a champ. I copied all of my files to my computer too just to be safe. I'm ready for a ROM now I guess.
